CRISIS on LYMAN PL. & HOLLYWOOD BLVD.

CRISIS on LYMAN PL. & HOLLYWOOD BLVD.

The southern end of Los Feliz has seen waves of violence and crime spread from encampments on Lyman and Berendo at Hollywood Blvd. Housed neighbors and those with insecure housing are being attacked, and waste is pilling up in our streets and yards.

There is a crime, opiod, and encampment epidemic at the intesections of Clayton Ave., Lyman Pl. and Hollywood Blvd. Please help with this crisis that is eroding the safety of our neighborhood, displacing unhoused neighbors, and hurting Los Feliz residents. Residents have been attacked with deadly weapons, opiod distribution and use has led to a rise in trespassing, and public health and sanitation is a constant battle. Private property and city infrastructure is being damaged and vandalized at rates not previously experienced, and residents, both housed and unhoused are being pushed out.
These issues have become everyday occurences as the homeless encampments where our unhoused neighbors used to live along side our apartments and homes have now been displaced by a violent and organzied group of individuals.

Please address the crime that is taking hold, clean up the health hazards, and keep our neighborhood safe for everday residents under roofs and on our streets.
